Deluxe Rack

A little bit pricey… but rack is fairly straightforward to use and simple to install in terms of spacing using the horizontal spacing chart found on suspenz.com. If you have stud alignment issues, just stud out your own wall.

However vertical spacing when stacking 2 kayaks was a whole different challenge. Discovered the hard way how much vertical spacing you need with a wider fishing kayak. Allow 35” (essentially the kayak width) for vertical clearance from top of horizontal part of bracket to the ceiling. Then the same 35” from the bottom of the upper bracket to the top of the stacked one below it. The extension straps must be used and recommend having a second person to help load / in-load the rack. It can get squirrely in a hurry. The straps / buckles may need re-routed to remove twists. With tapered kayak, the straps will be a little skewed across the kayak, but still secures just fine.

These are really outstanding kayak storage racks. Very simple to assemble/mount, well-made with solid materials and the perfect solution to store our 13.5 foot kayak. The fold-down portion and quick release straps securely hold the kayak during storage and make it super easy to slide the kayak out for removal. Suspenz staff were very friendly & helpful with our rack selections.

These racks deliver! Easy to install especially with laser level, cradles the kayak and locks it against the wall. I love it!

Second set I ordered - really like the product - had to order a replacement because the original failed in a saltwater marine environment - the part that failed on both of the units was the swing arm - the thinnest part of the metal, and it rusted through - I kept the original swing arms (could send pictures) and was hoping that Suspenz would have some thoughts on how to extend the use of these swing arms - note, I remove the straps and all of the metal parts except the main frames in the winter and sand / touch up any areas of rust before reinstalling them in the spring

We bought a Kevlar canoe, but don't have space to store it on its face as recommended. These racks allow us to hang it on its side in the garage without any hard contact points that might deform it over time.

I probably worry more than I should about the comfort of my kayak. But my kayak is my baby, and it makes me feel good knowing that my baby doesnt have any hard surfaces pushing against it. And its amazingly simple to get the boat in and out of the brackets. Im very happy with this system.

These are awesome. Im using for a 26 foot racing shell. Holds it nice and secure and protects it very well from any wind etc. One thing to note is the underrated drop of the small outboard arm when removing. Undo the safety straps and begin to pull the boat towards you and the small arms drop out of the way. Nice little feature.

Best rack available, and we've tried them all. Uniques feature is that the kayak pulls straight out, no need to lift.

I'm very happy with this product. It holds my 16' canoe. I did my homework and shopped around looking for a product that will hold my canoe. I saw nothing that was well made as this product or big enough to hold a canoe. I'm happy knowing that my canoe is well secured. I had to use different screws to bolt into the concrete wall. It is easy to put together. Easy to operate. I highly recommend this product to anyone.

Took some measurements three times to accommodate my 174 canoe but its perfect!

Works well as advertised. Very sturdy. Easy to install. When installed correctly, the straps/slings work to flip up the yellow tips on the bracket as the canoe is place on it such that the canoe cannot split off the bracket>>> clever design. I would reccomend this item.

Great for kayaks... like the swing down front, helps making load the kayak on the wall over shoulder height easier.

I love how easily these install the exterior of my garage to store my kayak. Im impressed by the simple, elegant design, that keeps my kayak secure, while preventing it from resting on hard spots. They have a great installation video, as well. Great value, also. I couldnt build and install a rack as good, for the price of a set of these racks. My only complaint is I found it a little confusing as to which rack to buy. I wasnt completely sure this rack would fit my boat, which is a Wilderness Systems Tsunami 120. As you can see, it worked well for this boat.

Ingenious design for ease of loading and unloading a kayak or rowing shell (I'm using it for the latter). Holds the boat securely.

Perfect! Dont hesitate, just buy them! Very sturdy. Holds my 17 foot kayak, no problem. Easy to put up and adjust.

it took about 20 minutes to install the mounts and hang my Jackson Big Tuna. The size of the kayak did require the extension straps.

I could ask nothing more; well designed, easy to install, good directions, and a great price point. We have been shopping for a while to find a product that hit ALL this categories! There is absolutely no need to buy the "fancy brands" , unless you just want the logo on your stuff. We have had all the fancy brands and frankly, it was money wasted. This does everything "they" do, but for a great price. Thank you!

Great way to safely mount for kayak out of the way without damaging during long-term storage.

Functional and sturdy. No complaints about design or ease of installation. One caveat for buyers: some of the online images available of this product suggest you can stack one set on top of the other for your install. This works with narrow kayaks, but don't make the mistake that I did and fail to give them enough vertical space. My Hobie Mirage would not fit when I stacked one on top of the other like the diagram suggested was OK. Measure the width of your kayak at its widest point before installing and save some trouble.

Very well designed, sturdy great protective packaging, clear directions for installation. Works great. Mounted these on my sea wall for my kayaks.

Bought two sets of these puppies to store two 17 feet touring kayaks. Easy to install and works great. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the straps on one set were incorrectly attached. No big deal, had to redo it to match the second set. Lost about 10 minutes figuring it out, otherwise takes 5 minutes to install.

Easy to install, simple construction, very solid. Installed two, one under the other. Setting them on and removing has been very slick, could easily do alone. Like the straps to avoid distortion of the shell. Bit of adjustment on first use, as suggested in instructions, will be easy moving forward. Used indoors, so did not go for the outdoor version. Would definitely recommend based on experience to this point. Higher cost than others, but the quality is evident, you get what you pay for.

These are the way! I purchased these to put in an outbuilding which will hold my Wilderness Systems Aspire 105 which is located partly over my motorcycle. I needed something I could depend on so it wouldn't fall. I'm very pleased with this and it is a breeze to load and unload. If you will be loading the kayak by yourself these are worth the extra bucks!
