Have a backup

The quick release wheel pin does the job but on my last many portage canoe trip I dropped it in the dirt or the lake twice. I was able to find it both times but I decided that instead of having to "jury rig" the wheel in place if it happened again, I was going to purchase extras and tape them to the cart frame. Normally if I have a back up I never need it!

These quick release pins fit the best kayak cart ever

This is more about the cart than the pins. I have tried multiple kayak carts over the last ten years. Without a doubt, the small kayak cart with 8" wheels is the best. The cart comes apart with no tools and it and the wheels fit into a 10" kayak hatch. I lost a QR pin because I installed it backwards. I ordered two replacements, one to use and for a backup.
