Tried this cart for first time today. Was not nearly as good as I hoped. First, it tipped right over as I tried to go up and over the levee. As long as trail is flat, level and not too bumpy, it works. Any kind of cross slope, forget it. Plus almost impossible to get he clamps tight enough to stay in place. They twist, the kayak gets off center and over it goes. Trying to adapt it by using a rubber shock cord to tie the the 2 uprights together. For some reason the uprights slip the scupper holes and the cart does not stay vertical. The uprights are too small. I may try getting something like another rubber stopper to slip onto the uprights. I would not recommend this cart, sorry I bought it.
This cart helps us move them with ease. My husbands is heavier and was difficult for us to manuver, but now he can do it by himself. We do have to adjust slightly for my kayak but easy to change angle.
Simple to use great product
