In summary, this is the best bang-for-buck beach cart on the market. Transporting my fully-loaded cart to and from my vehicle through soft sand was as easy as a walk in the park.
Out of the box - the cart was well packaged and delivery was swift. This cart requires no tools to assemble; you can fully assemble it in five minutes, and break it back down in the same amount of time or less.
The cart is a heavy duty cart. My kayak - an Old Town Sportsman PDL 106 - fully rigged out (4 rods, electronics, battery, tackle, crate, drive) is far from a light kayak and this cart carries it with ease. I'm not sure if you'd had the experience of trying to drag a heavy boat through soft sand, but it drains the life out of you, especially after 8 hours on the water. This cart glides over the sand.
There's also a kickstand that's built into it out of the box, so there's nothing extra required to purchase or 3D print yourself (like some other carts on the market). Also, there are cam buckler straps that run through the bunker bars, so when you tie your vessel down to the cart it's pretty solid. The beach wheels are what makes this cart shine in the sand. They're perfect for those soft-sand beach launches (just make sure not to over-inflate them!). They're also durable, so they can handle transporting on concrete/over some light terrain to get down to the sand. The bunker bars are nicely padded, so you don't need to worry about unnecessary scratching or having to modify it in order to better suit your needs.
Overall, I'm impressed with the cart and how it's built. This will be my go-to cart every time I'm launching from any soft sand. If you're looking for one, look no further, this one is the one to get. Check out my video for unboxing, assembly, and testing.
Some different configuration options on the cart make this work well for a number of watercraft. This carries SUPs, canoes, kayaks and even small row boats. You can run the orientation parallel or perpendicular to the bottom of the craft depending if you have a keel in the way. The quality is top of the line and you can switch out wheels to go from a beach cart to more of a hard surface cart. The kickstand is nice to keep your stuff from dragging on the ground. Tires take some abuse over rocks and make it easier to get your stuff to the water. The straps attach easily and secure the craft to the cart with little movement. This is well thought out cart. Very handy and very versatile.
This is so cool. I use this to pull my kayak down to the beach. The sand can get really hard to pull through with the smaller tires on the one i used to use. To the point i quit going as much. With this it feels like it almost pulls itself. Thick sugar sand is no longer an issue. Its goes together quick and simple and fits away easily in the car or in the garage when Im not using it. The tires do seem a little thin and Im afraid a sand spur or sharp shell would pop the tires but so far its been out three times with no complaints.
While this isn't a Boonedox Landing Gear...this thing is a GREAT trolley. I was able to easily move around my 2021 Hobie Outback (even with my Boonedox in the stowed position). This will 100% be the way I move my 2023 Vanhunks Pro Angler kayak around. The Pro Angler will be what I use for the bass kayak tourneys as it just has more than the outback does and this will allow me to distribute weight more effectively when i put the trolling motor on it.
I have a couple of kayaks and have been through a few carts. This cart/trolley from Suspenz is heavy duty!! I think itll be with me for some time. I like that the bars are padded and the straps dont come off of the cart. Assembly was easy. I had it together in about10 minutes. Its super easy to adjust the width of the rails. Just 2 wingnuts each and there are marks on the bar so you know the spread is uniform. The wheels with the big sand tires are awesome!! Ive never had a cart with this type of wheel because I dont see much beach, but Im ready for it. They are very cushioning going over irregular terrain as well as pavement. I never knew what I was missing. I have a light and a HEAVY kayak. I like the way the long , padded rails more evenly disperse the weight of the kayak. This makes moving them a breeze!! This is a large kayak crate. I can easily break it down and store it on my larger kayak, not on the smaller. This would make a great gift for any kayaker or paddleboarder!! It just makes things so much easier. I promise you they dont have a nicer cart than this one! Im proud to own it and Ill get a lot of use out of it. This cart makes my other carts look like toys. Theyre pretty much obsolete now that I have this one from Suspenz. This is a SUPER STRONG 2 thumbs up from me!
