Fabulously functional!

Well designed and built. As described: easy assembly, sturdy, and good videos to explain the different configurations. The cart is supporting a 25 foot Liteboat that weighs 150 pounds. When rowing and voyaging, the cart sits upside down and fully assembled at the stern. The cart floats which makes attachment to the row boat at the beach straightforward. Excellent work Suspenz! Thank you.

Catch All with Catch Mode 110

Review for Catch Mode owners!

This is my fourth cart (3 companies) trying to set up a functional cart trolley for my Pelican Catch Mode 110. As owners may know, the Catch Mode series has a "tunnel" hull configuration. This means that fitting a cart to a completely loaded fishing Catch Mode is challenging to say the least.
Note: this cart has two configurations. This review is for the parallel mode and not the "cross" perpendicular mode.
First determine the distance to set the bunker bars apart to align just into the edges of the "tunnel" (it's abourt 9.5 inches if memory serves). It's best to flip over your yak to do this.
Now here is the key:
Forget using the Suspenz straps in the way the instructions state.
The reason is two-fold;
A) The design of the "straps-through-the-bars" is a big pain in the you-know-where to adjust the fastening design above the gunnels. I feel this strap/bar arrangement was designed more for perpendicular crossbar use.
B) More importantly, and crucial, is because the Catch Mode is a tunnel hull design, pulling the cart up into the hull snuggly is impossible with the through the bars straps. It won't happen, because you are pulling the bunker bars laterally "apart" left and right, and not vertically into the tunnel hull.
The answer is to attach the two straps TO THE AXLE of the cart between the bracket mounts. This way, the straps, when pulled up above the yak the cart are vertically snugged into the tunnel hull corners. IT WORKS BETTER FOR THE CATCH MODE.
I had long phone conversations, with Spuspenz customer rep, Laurie, to let her know my findings and she was a supremely helpful and listened to my findings, as well as other cart points unrelated to this discussion.

Great transport for kayak

Really the best transport I found so far, light weight, compact, versatile, and thank God. It won’t rust using it on a 16 foot old town loon T160. Hopefully they make a bearing for the wheel hub to make it last longer only weak link I can find but still awesome product. I am very happy with it.

Sturdy and vesatile

Performance of my new cart has been very good, and it has been quite easy to use on both my Old Town Sportsman fishing kayak, and my solo canoe (15’9” x 29”).
My only concern was that when it arrived, certain holes were drilled out of position on one of the brackets, so it could not be assembled/used (holes on the 2nd identical bracket were correctly located). A new part was shipped in short order, which I greatly appreciated, but this is a problem that should never have occurred.

Equipment to make the work easy

What a difference good equipment makes! Paddle4Tomorrow displayed our equipment at a youth event for children. We used the Catch-All Universal Airless Cart to transport our boat and equipment and the Heavy Duty Portable Stands to display our boat. The Suspenz equipment made easy work of transporting our gear and displaying attractive. I know it will do the same for others as well.

We can kayak again

Lifting kayaks, at this stage in life, proved to be A NoGo!
And now, we CAN get to these launches (that get further away 🙄) and enjoy the water again.
Thank you all for this!

Great Design

I totally enjoyed assembling the Catch-All Universal Airless Cart. As a lifelong engineer I really appreciate the excellent design. We have yet to actually go kayaking! :-) We now have to put together our EcoLight Trailer!

Nice cart

Using cart on a small 40lb canoe (Esquif Adirondack). The cart is well made and easy to assemble. Putting together and taking down is a breeze. After some thought and trial and error I was able to figure out the best way to secure canoe to cart. I did run a extra strap around the middle as an extra precaution on a rough logging road. No problems. A small learning curve was attaching cart to the proper place on loaded canoe for the best balance, Again no issue. Overall I am pleased with the purchase.

Easy To Use and Stable

Have been using an inexpensive Amazon folding cart for my kayaks. Finally got tired of fighting with it, trying to keep the kayak securely mounted AND keep it rolling straight (with little success). Did some research and read a bunch of reviews and decided on the Suspenz Catch-All Universal Airless cart. WHAT a difference!! This thing adjusts to fit my Crescent CK1 Venture perfectly! Straps hold it tight and secure and the cart/boat move as one. No more struggling to keep the boat on track when pulling it. Disassembles with ease for onboard storage as well. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Very happy with this purchase. Wish I'd gotten one years ago.

Incredibly happy with this purchase - works great for OC1 and OC2 canoes

I bought this for less common use case of transporting an OC1 and OC2 canoe about 4 blocks to the water. I could not find much information online about what carts would work well for that. Also the walk to the water is mostly pavement but also includes some rutted mud as well as grass, dirt, and sand. The no-air bicycle tires are perfect for pavement and they work well on dirt, grass, and sand. They are (as expected) not fantastic for soft sand but work well enough for a short distance. I can easily get the canoes on and off the cart. I position it rudder-down (toward the street) and with the rudder toward the back, where I push from. I position the cart just slightly to the stern of center so that the bow will naturally fall. This way I can be sure the rudder doesn't hit the ground. To go over curbs and bigger bumps I just have the other paddler pick up the bow, or if I'm alone push it gently up.

Catch all cart.

I have a perception hook angler (sound) 10.5. This cart works great for it. Much easier to go longer distances compared to the end cart I was using. I'm able to disable cart and put it in carry bag and keep it in rear cargo area of kayak. Takes a little more time to assemble / disassemble in the field than the folding ones, but the more I do it the quicker it is. Works well over bumpy field grass I use it for.

Great Cart for Heavy Yaks!!!

I tried a couple of different yak carts like the RAD Sportz Kayak Trolley and C Tug both were tough to center and they would tend to start crab-walking when towing. I then looked at the Yak-Attack but it was a bit pricey...but I liked that style of cart. I shopped around and decided to give the Suspenz cart a try. This cart is very versatile and the bunks are adjustable. It works perfectly for my heavy Zulu fishing kayak. I can also change the bunk direction and use it to cart my 10 ft Jon boat. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Excellent, works well.

I got this to use with a pond prowler, which is heavier than the kayaks it was designed for. I have used it several times, and it works great. I haven't tried it on sand yet, but it works well on concrete and grass. If I need it on the sand, the wheels can be replaced (the axle is adjustable), and I can get a set of beach wheels.

So useful for more than kayaks and canoes

I ordered this cart because it looked like something I could use for things I have that are very awkward to more around on my own. It is perfect for my needs in the regards. When I have a box that is large and not easily held on to by me alone, I put this under it and easily move it where I need it. I have used it once though to do what its stated purpose was and it, also, handle that flawless. It is so maneuverable when you have whats on it securely fastened. The cart is well made and easy to assemble. The wheels move smoothly and freely, and the included strap was perfect for the one kayak I moved around. Like I said before, I use it more for other things and I use a different strap but when it is secured, it is secure.

Decent

This cart is vert nice and fully adjustable. Rolls pretty good although wheel bearings would have been better. It is a bit of a pain to disassemble and reassemble. The extra long bunk makes it easier to get the kayak lined up and on top. The padded bars fit tight in the grooves on the bottom of the boat and prevent shifting around. they should have put quick release latches in the straps to make it faster to secure the boat.

Works great for my canoe

I like how I can make adjustments to this cart to better fit my canoe. The wheels, though not meant for high speed, or long distance, have worked behind my bike for short slow distances to a local lake. The materials are high quality and the strapping and padding keep the canoe snug on the cart. When not in use, this collapses to manageable size that fits well in a trunk. There are other wheel types you can purchase for use on the sand. This works perfect for travel down dirt paths, over grass and on pavement. This is a pretty cool cart that works for a number of things other than a canoe.
