Oversized wheels & 2 sets of extra-long Cam Buckle straps prevent load shifting for greater stability.

The kayak and canoe cart for all terrains includes BUNKER BARS® that are adjustable to fit numerous hull types including tunnel/catamaran, V-shaped, and flat bottom.
  • Wheel Clearance
BUNKER BARS® are tall with oversized heavy-duty foam and provide much needed lift between hull & cart wheels.
  • Ease of Use
Attached tie-down straps & spring-loaded kickstand for easy loading.
  • Double the Straps
Two sets of straps means greater support to prevent load shifting. Replacement kayak cart straps are available for the Super Duty All-Terrain and Mag-Lite Carts.
  • See the Xtra Tall Bunker Bars® to convert this cart to fit: Old Town Sportsman Kayak, Native Ultimate Kayak, Ocean Kayak Malibu and Pedal, 3 Waters Big Fish Kayak and similar fishing kayaks.

Important: Suspenz Carts are for transport only—storing your kayak on the cart can damage the airless wheels.

    Versatile uses

This thing is awesome. I use it to haul my 16 foot Navarro Loon canoe during the warmer months. I've hauled the canoe over a mile on some rocky terrain using this cart! Its very smooth rolling and easy to use. I like that it folds up.

In the colder months, I use it for an "unintended" use. I use it to haul my duck hunting gear! My duck hunting gear is in a 5' long plastic jet sled, which I strap down onto the Suspenz carrier and push for 1-2 miles along dirt paths and levee roads until I find a spot I want to enter the marsh. I then slide the sled off of the cart and float it through the marsh. Because the Suspenz cart folds up, I can easily fit it on top of my sled once I'm in the water. Then when I'm done, it all folds up nicely and fits easily into my Subaru Crosstrek.

This wouldn't be possible without the adjustable bunker bars. Overall, a great product that I use at least a few times each month.

Suspenz canoe cart vs Allagash Wilderness Waterway portage

I recently had the privilege to use the Suspenz canoe cart on the Allagash Wilderness Waterway (AWW). We used it several times during the famed canoe trip, but it really shined during the 1/4 mile Allagash Falls portage. We were able to transport the canoes and all of our gear from a 5 day trip using the Suspenz cart system. As you can see from the pictures and videos we had a lot of weight in the canoes and traveled over some very rough terrain, and without any issues or malfunctions. The cart folds flat and stored easily in the bottom of the canoe until we were ready to use it. Highly recommend this cart to anyone looking for a rugged canoe cart that lives up to its description. I have made this portage several times…but never again without my Suspenz cart. Blaine Bronson - Wild Waters Guide Service , Abbot Maine

    Old-Outdoorsman-Who-Never-Dies

I'm 76, and after a few decades of climbing, Mt. Biking and X-C skiing, etc., I switched over to sea kayaking. I just bought your All-Terrain-Airless Cart; after trying and rejecting several of your competitors. A++! What a boon for the busted-up aging and broken-down demographic.

Your cart not only works as you claim, but allows me to transport my loaded kayak from truck to water and then into the water. I believe that your powder-coated product will withstand the ravages of salt water as well.

I now - happily - regard transport/portage work as just another part of the activity.

    Sturdy!

This is the best kayak cart you can buy. It’s heavy, so i dont plan on storing it on my yak while im on the water. Its foldable. All you need to do is unscrew the handle for each axle with no worries of bolts or washers falling off. Very well designed. Its worth the money.

Just what I was looking for

The All-Terrain Super Duty Airless Cart worked perfectly to transport my Navaroo Loon16 canoe. I had an old LL Bean cart with a similar design but after years of use, it wore out. I was delighted to find this one. The airless tires and double straps make it easy to use and it looks sturdy enough to last for years.

    VERY SOUND AND DURABLE DEVICE

I built this device right out of the box in less than 20 minutes, and, that was taking my time. It is very solid and well built, looking forward to many many years of service with my kayak (which when fully geared out is about 175 pounds).

    Works ok

Bought it for a canoe. Problems is the supports dont work in the lowest/widest position because they rub on the tires. Seems like an obvious design flaw to miss.

We faced a number of decisions when designing the Bunker Bar positioning on this cart.
The original version of the cart in 2013 had 3 positions for the Bunker Bars.
When making improvements to the cart we considered offering 4 positions by having 2 holes in the dog ear on the frame and 2 holes on the Bunker Bar. This would have provided 4 fully functional positions.
We opted to use 3 holes in the Bunker Bar yielding 6 possible positions. As you noted, 5 of the positions are functional and one is not useable due to the wheel interference issue you noted.
Another significant factor we had to consider was ensuring the new Bunker Bar's backward compatibility with earlier carts.
After much debate and consideration, we concluded that it was more beneficial to provide 5 usable positions on the cart.

In the manual, we state, “There are 5 adjustment holes (2 on cart tab & 3 on bunker bar) giving Bunker Bar spacings of 9”, 11”, 13”, 19” or 20”.

    Great but could be excellent

The cart is solid and durable. It is strong enough to carry two 60 lbs. kayaks with some creative loading. I've used it regularly over the past two years, and it has held up very well. It is great for transporting a kayak over rough terrain. I wish the locking pins were better attached. The clips that hold the locking pins bend and the pins can be lost. A second weakness is the pads that hold the kayak are slippery. It would be nice if they were slip resistant, because the kayak sometimes slides and shifts on the cart. Overall, definitely worth the money.

    Gets the Job Done.

Use this to walk my kayaks down to the lake down the road from me. Does the job. It is a little wonky as the pads do not fit the kayak I have on the bottom quite right, but it works fine, and does the job. All in all, a good little cart. Will have to see how it holds up, but has been working fine for the last 3.5 months.

Two straps are much more stable than one

This is an EXCELLENT cart! It is easy to slide my kayak on, easy to tighten the straps, and super easy to move my kayak, even on a hill. The design uses the kayak's point of balance to make it feel almost weightless. The cart folds easily, but I rarely need the extra space. I love being independent (I'm under 5 feet tall) and this allows me to transport my kayak from my Forester (9'6" kayak) or F250 (12' kayaks).

    Customer Service

Received the transport cart and noticed that there was a missing spacer. Contacted Suspenz customer support and got a very fast response. I got the spacer quickly and was able to complete the assembly. Great customer support.

    Works.

Will not work for all kayaks. I purchased this for my ascend 133X Tournament kayak as its 13 and 125lbs with nothing on it. The adjustable arm supports really dont work at any positions without rubbing the bottom of the kayak on the tires.

This is the one you want

Avoid the cheap plastic ones with small wheels. This thing goes over rocks, logs and steep inclines great.

    Almost perfect

Bought this product for my Hobie PA 12 360, does the job wonderfully. The only nagetive I have with this product are the four pins to secure the adjustable brace mount; they are kinda a pain to use. All in all great product and can haul my kayak with all the accessories 2-3 miles no problem.

Takes the backache out of a 13' tandem kayak!

I wanted a tandem kayak to paddle with the youngest of my grandchildren. But, a stable, sturdy kayak weighs quite a bit more than I can heave by myself and particularly since I need to portage it about a half mile or so down to a pond. This cart is super. Positioned just behind the center of gravity on the kayak it balances easily with one hand and the large wheel makes walking it only a bit more work than walking alone. Even with 5 or 10 degree grades and through some uneven rutted dirt paths this cart takes most of the work out of the journal. Solidly constructed, easily assembled and attached to my 13' tandem kayak, this cart made the trek safe and pleasant! I can gladly recommend this cart for your kayak transport on foot.

    Good cart

I ordered this to transport my Old Town topwater 120 pdl. I was needing a cart with horizontal rails to fit in the grooves in my hull. After some trial and error I now have it set perfect. Tip: put the cart more towards the middle. Seems very sturdy, and the tie down straps were pleanty long. I cut off some of the extra strap. My only beef with this is that it takes up alot of space in your kayak if you are needing to haul it with you.
